A special NCTOTA recognition was given to the Carl Moore Family at the fall chapter meeting for his years of service as an ambassador and caretaker of our Fort Hembree signs. Rob Tiger and Anita Finger Smith shared memories of Carl with the group and presented the family with a certificate and gifts of appreciation. Lonnie Murphy next presented Carl’s wife Janice with a jar of honey and remembrances of visiting with Carl while doing the landscaping around the signs when he always brought him honey.
